Keeping his famous promise of ‘I’ll be back’ Arnold Schwarzenegger returned to his home town of Thal in Austria on Friday.
Surrounded by hundreds of fans, he saw the unveiling of a statue of himself as a bodybuilder, his first celebrity incarnation.
Accompanied by his son Patrick he addressed hundreds of fans in Austrian, telling people to follow their dreams.
“It’s my big wish that everybody who visits this museum understand and comprehend that everybody can have success in his own way.”
The ceremony took place at the house in which he grew up. It has now been turned into a museum packed full of Schwarzenegger memorabilia, including film memorabilia, his desk from when he was governor of California, and the bed he used as a child.
The Terminator seemed to enjoy his time back at home, but before long he had to say ‘Hasta la vista, baby’ once more.
