Anti-greed protests spread across US

What started off in New York as a protest against Wall Street is spreading across the USA, and some have already dubbed it the American Spring.

Rallies against economic inequality have taken place in at least 10 cities including the capital Washington DC.

Participation by trade unions and various film stars is reasonably predictable, but the protesters have some support in more unlikely places. A top US Federal Reserve official has said he has some sympathy for their views and on Thursday President Obama and his Vice-President Joe Biden acknowledged the anger and frustration of the demonstrators.
