European Commission chief Jose Manuel Barroso paid tribute to Steve Jobs in an interview with euronews’ Alex Taylor on Thursday.

“Its a great loss. I think if someone gave a great contribution to the way we live today it was Steve Jobs. The way we interact, the fact that now technology is available to the common people, information is disseminated,” Barroso said.

The former Portuguese prime minister added: “I think that the world has changed a lot because of his creativity and his inventions, so I want to pay tribute to his life and to his legacy.”
