Michael Jackson’s bodyguard has told an Los Angeles court the star’s doctor told him to dispose of medicine in Jackson’s room before calling for help.
Alberto Alvarez arrived in Jackson’s bedroom just after Dr Conrad Murray. “I was standing at the bedside and he (Doctor Conrad Murray) grabbed a handful of vials of medicine, held them out to me and said ‘put these away in a bag’”.
Alvarez was followed on the stand by Jackson’s former chef. Kai Chase told the Los Angeles court the doctor appeared frantic, calling for security and Jackson’s son Prince.
Jackson died in June 2009 at the age of 50.
Conrad Murray denies involuntary manslaughter over his death. If convicted, he faces up to four years in prison.
