French cinema boom The film award for Roman Polanski he should have picked up two years ago in Zurich has finally been presented to the oscar-winning director at this year’s festival. He was arrested in 2009 at the request of the USA for a 30 year-old charge of having sex with a 13 year-old girl, but the Swiss refused to extradite him the following year.
