Ethnic clashes in Bulgaria leave five injured

Five people, including three police officers, have been hurt in clashes between Bulgarians and members of the Roma community.

The fighting broke out in the village of Kanunitsa 160Km south of the capital Sofia.

It started after a Roma man driving a van, ran over a young Bulgarian in what some villagers thought was a deliberate action.
