Captain Sergio Parisse was in inspirational form scoring one try and setting up two others as the Italians dominated the Pool C encounter at Trafalgar Park in Nelson.

Italy’s nine tries earning Nick Mallet’s men a crucial bonus point.

Australia are next up in Pool C. The Wallabies will look to bounce back from their shock defeat against the Irish when they face the USA in Wellington on Friday.
