Russian media tycoon lashes out in TV debate

A television talk show in Moscow ended with fists flying, as guests debated economic issues.

Comments from a fellow Russian businessman irritated media mogul Alexander Lebedev to such an extent that he lashed out. The owner of two British newspapers claimed he had no choice but to “neutralise” his opponent.

Former real estate tycoon Sergei Polonsky was knocked off his seat by Lebedev and sent sprawling.
