New Zealand vs Japan Preview

New Zealand will be looking to make it two wins from two games in group A when they lock horns with Japan in Hamilton on Friday.

Team captain Richie McCaw will miss the game due to a leg injury and national team coach Graham Henry announced he would make 10 changes to his starting XV with hooker Keven Mealamu now leading the side.

Meanwhile, Japan will be seeking to banish memories of their 145-17 humiliation at the hands of the All Blacks in 1995 and despite being viewed by many as clear underdogs, coach John Kirwan believes his players will put up a good fight.
