After the longest wait of any team in the tournament, the Russians will finally be making their highly anticipated World Cup debut against the United States in New Plymouth on Thursday.

And while the halfback partnership of Alexander Shakirov and Yury Kushnarev will start in their 18th test together, flanker Sean O’Brien, full back Rob Kearney and prop Cian Healy will all return to the side for Ireland’s key group C clash with Australia at Eden Park on Saturday.
