Sweden’s National Security Service have arrested four people on suspicion of plotting a terrorist attack in Gothenburg.
An art gallery in the centre of the country’s second city was evacuated and cordoned off around midnight local time.
A spokesperson for the Swedish prosecutors office declined to give any information concerning the arrests.
Last December a suicide bomber botched an attack in the capital Stockholm.
