All Blacks triumph in World Cup opener

New Zealand kick-started their Rugby World Cup campaign on a winning note courtesy of a 41-10 victory over Tonga in the curtain raiser for the 7th edition of the tournament.

With an expectant nation eagerly watching, the hosts produced crowd pleasing attacking rugby in Auckland with man of the match Richard Kahui scoring two tries, he was also instrumental in two others.

Despite the victory, the All Blacks produced many handling errors, leaving coach Graham Henry not jumping for joy just yet.
