Honda recalling nearly one million cars

Honda is to recall 960,000 of its Fit small car – known as the Jazz in some markets – as well as some CR-V and CR-Z models.
 
The Japanese carmaker said it has to repair a number of problems including malfunctioning electric window controls that could cause a fire.  

Honda will not say how much it is going to cost; it did confirm that no accidents have been reported due to the defects.

Most of the models being recalled were sold in Japan, China and other Asian countries.
