Former French president Jacques Chirac could avoid facing corruption charges now he has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. A judge in Paris will decide what to do with the case on Monday morning. Chirac is accusing of misusing public money as mayor of Paris in the 1980s and 1990s.
