Hungarian war crimes suspect cleared Former Hungarian army captain Sandor Kepiro has died aged 97. He was accused of taking part in WWII’s Novi Sad Massacre but fled to Argentina before returning to Hungary at the end of his life and asking for a trial. He was aquitted by a court in July, but was facing an appeal.
