Arrests made in Mexican casino murder hunt Reports from Mexico say armed men have killed more than 50 people in an attack on a casino that left the building ablaze and gamblers trapped inside. There are warnings the death toll could rise further.
It happened 230 kilometres from the US border in Monterrey, a city where violence has risen recently as Mexico’s war with drug gangs intensifies.
The attackers are said to have doused flammable liquid in the casino and then set it alight.
