Norwegian police have staged a reconstruction of self-confessed killer Anders Breivik’s shooting spree on Utoeya island.
They took the 32-year-old, dressed in a bullet-proof vest and tied to a leash, back to where he slaughtered 69 mainly young people three weeks ago.
Police Prosecutor, Paal-Fredrik Hjort Kraby:” It was clear the suspect was not unmoved at being back on Utoeya. It is not in our interest to elaborate further on this at present, but there was no expression of regret for his actions.”
Despite Breivik’s admission that he committed both the shootings on the island and a bombing in central Oslo, the Norwegian police claim the reconstruction was needed to show survivors and relatives exactly what happened.
