Real Madrid triumph in El Clásico Spanish International Cesc Fabregas has put the finishing touches on his switch to Barcelona after signing a five-year contract with the Catalans.
Following a long running transfer saga, the 24 year old, who passed his medical on Monday, finally penned a deal worth a reported 40 million euros – of which six million would be based on variables such as number of games played and trophies won.
After his first official press conference with his new club, Fabregas was presented to around 30,000 Barca fans in the Nou Camp as he returned to the club he left as a 16-year-old in 2003.
