Two French women found dead in Argentina

The bodies of two French women have been found in a ravine in northern Argentina.

The women were spotted by hikers in an area popular with tourists west of the city of Salta. One of the women had been shot in the head, the other in the back.

It’s thought at least one of them had been sexually assaulted.

They had last been seen two weeks ago.
