Where to protest in Brussels

If you ever feel the need to express yourself to Europe’s leaders, Schuman Square, near the EU Council and the Commission buildings, is a favourite gathering point for protesters.
 
In recent weeks we have seen big and tiny demonstrations: against the Syrian regime (this one on a weekly basis), in support of the second humanitarian flotilla to Gaza (where protesters denounced the silence of EU authorities), calling for an end to the euro (when EU leaders met in June), and even a boat in front of the Commission and a fish standing by the press room of the EU’s Executive building.
