Ukraine court rejects arrest of ex-PM Tymoshenko

A court in Ukraine has rejected a bid to place former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko in custody. State prosecutors called for her arrest, saying she was trying to disrupt her trial for alleged abuse of office. Tymoshenko claims all the charges against her are politically motivated.
