Former Manchester United forward Diego Forlán scored twice as Uruguay won the Copa América for a record 15th time, beating Paraguay 3-0 in Buenos Aires on Sunday.
Uruguayan fans only had to wait 11 minutes before La Celeste broke the deadlock thanks to a great finish from Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.
Forlán then ended a year without scoring for his country after running onto a pinpoint pass from midfielder Egidio Arevalo Rios before blasting the ball past goalkeeper Justo Villar.
Paraguay’s best chance came eight minutes after the restart through Nelson Valdez, who fired a volley onto the crossbar.
In a last minute counter attack, Forlán slotted the ball past Villa once again to score his second goal of the day and make sure of the win.
