This week’s edition of Business Weekly focuses, once again, on the euro debt crisis that took a dramatic turn this past week. After eight hours of intense discussions, a summit meeting in Brussels produced a massive second bailout package for Greece.
In an effort to stop contagion, euro zone leaders also erected a firewall around potential risk countries like Italy and Spain. Other stories cover the war of nerves between the Obama administration and the Republicans over the country’s debt ceiling and markets’ reaction to the Murdoch media scandal.
