US set for long hot summer as heatwave goes on

A heatwave in the United States that has claimed 22 lives could last until August as it heads east.

Temperatures have hit 38 degrees celsius in central and southern regions.

Forecasters said the hot weather will hit the city of Philadelphia on Friday.
