The Mexican army on Thursday seized over 800 tonnes of chemicals used to make crystal meth, an illegal drug popular with clubbers in the United States.
If processed, the chemicals would have produced nearly 20 billion euros worth of the banned substance.
Authorites declined to specify the number of arrests made in the raid.
