Eight Calabrian mafia members were jailed for life by a court in southern Italy on Tuesday for the killing of six Italian men in Duisburg, Germany four years ago.

Their deaths came after a long-running violent feud between two rival gangs.

Italian law allows prosecution of crimes that occur abroad if Italian citizens are the victims.
