Turkey’s Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has met his Iranian counterpart in Tehran to discuss the unrest in Syria.

It is one of several last minute stopovers of regional hotspots as Turkey seeks to exert its influence.

Iran has been accused of sending in military support to the Syrian president.
