UK arrest ETA suspect wanted in 1997 Spanish King attack

Police in the UK have arrested a man alleged to have taken part in a terrorist plot to assassinate the King of Spain.

Eneko Gogeaskoetxea is wanted on a European arrest warrant for offences dating back to 1997.

Spanish media say he’s been linked to violence carried out by the Basque separatist group Eta.
