Hundreds of Harry Potter fans have descended on London’s Trafalgar Square for the premiere of the last film in the blockbusting series. Some have been camping out since the Monday hoping to catch a glimpse of the stars. Some of the super dedicated have even flown in from around the world to be a part of the finale.
One such person is Sabrina, a 29 year old teacher from Argentina. “I came from Buenos Aires, approximately 12,000 kilometres away, just to see Harry Potter,” she said.
Also in the crowd is 16-year-old student, Lauren Furness. “I’m a Gryffindor student and I’m here because this is the last time that there’s ever going to be a Harry Potter film premiere. It’s like the end of an era. So it’s dedication – we’re all coming together, it’s amazing.”
The second part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows premieres in Leicester Square on Thursday night.
