Laughing hackers LulzSec cease activities

world news

| |

LulzSec, the hacker group that has penetrated a number of high-profile websites over the last two months, has suddenly ceased its activities.

The group announced its withdrawal through its Twitter account and gave no reason for the decision.

Many believe the six-member collective has called it a day following the arrest of a teenage British hacker and other hackers determination to unmask the group.

LulzSec has hacked into the CIA, the US Senate, FBI organisations as well as Sony and Nintendo.

The group also claims to have huge amounts of data from government and law enforcement agencies from across the globe, which will be rolled out in the coming weeks.

The cyber hit-squad claim to have no moral agenda and are in the business of mischief and “laughs.”
