Morocco : Gnaoua Music Festival in Essaouira

The Moroccan city of Essaouira is once again welcoming musicians from around the world for the Gnaoua Music Festival.

A musical-melting pot, the festival combines traditional gnaoua music – itself a mixture of sub-Saharan African, Berber and Sufi religious songs and rhythms – with jazz, pop and rock.
