The countdown is running: one year left until the kick-off for the European football championship, EURO 2012. But there is a hooligan war ongoing in host country Poland. The country also has problems with football corruption and delays in constructing new stadiums.

Tougher security laws and more police action should solve at least the hooligan problem in time.
