The wedding plans

This extravagant affair takes place over two days.

On July 1 the civil wedding between Prince Albert II and Charlene Wittstock will take place in the throne room at the Prince’s Palace. The couple are then expected to make an appearance on the palace balcony to greet the Monegasque people.

In the evening Jean Michel Jarre will give a concert at the Port.

The following day, July 2, the religious ceremony will take place at 17.00 CET in the main courtyard of the Prince’s Palace.

The royal couple will then pass through Monaco – where the public will be able to congratulate them.

The evening will end with a sumptuous dinner, prepared by world famous chef Alain Ducasse, and a firework display.
