Spain restores motorway speed limits

Since March speed limits on Spain’s motorways have been reduced to save money, but from July 1 they will revert to 120 kilometres per hour.

Trimming the limit by just 10 kph has saved over 450 million euros says the government, but with the weakening of the price of oil, the measure is no longer needed.
