Lagarde woos IMF executive board


Christine Lagarde has stepped up her campaign to become the next head of the International Monetary Fund. The French Foreign Minister had a three hour meeting with the IMF board, who say they hope to make a decision by June 30th. Lagarde is the favourite, but Mexico’s central bank chief, Agustin Carstens is also in the running.
