Christiania residents to set up ownership fund

After seven years of negotiations, the inhabitants of Copenhagen’s alternative community of Christiania have agreed to establish a fund to buy the former naval base in the Danish capital for 16 million euros. The deal should guarantee that those living in the self-proclaimed autonomous neighbourhood can continue to do so at a reasonable rent.
