Croatian former PM extradition open

Croatian former prime minister Ivo Sanader has withdrawn an appeal against his extradition from Austria, leaving the way open to face charges of corruption and abuse of power in Zagreb. Arrested on an international warrant in December, Sanader has denied any wrongdoing and accused his successor and one-time confidante, Jadranka Kosor, of orchestrating a campaign against him.
