A collection of unpublished photographs of The Beatles’ first US concerts are going under the hammer in New York.
Photographer Mike Mitchell, who was just 18 at the time, was one of the lucky few who got a pass for a press conference ahead of the band’s first concert at the Washington Coliseum in 1964.
