Libyan rockets land in Tunisia

The Libyan army has fired more Grad missiles into Tunisia near the border crossing of Dehiba say locals. They report hearing at least five explosions although there appear to have been no casualties.

Meanwhile rebel forces have edged further out of Misrata pushing pro-Gradaffi troops back from the city. They have reached the outskirts of Zlitan which lies west of Misrata on the road to Tripoli. There have been reports of heavy fighting in the area.

The other side of Zlitan is Zawiha, which is only 50 kilometres from Tripoli. The city has also seen heavy fighting recently, although it remains under the control of Gadaffi’s troops.

To the southwest, a spokesman said that despite heavy bombardment over the weekend, the city of Zintan had repulsed the attack and was now quiet.
