Massive demonstrations have been taking place on the streets of Yemen.
Tens of thousands of anti-government protesters say they will continue their action until president Ali Saleh officially steps down.
The country’s leader is being treated in Saudi Arabia after being wounded in a rocket attack.
One man said: “We totally refuse the return of Ali Abdullah Saleh to Yemen, either alive or dead.”
Saleh has been ruling Yemen for three decades and is resisting pressure from Western and Arab countries to step down.
But there was also a parallel protest in the capital, with thousands turning out to show their support for Saleh.
The size of the pro and anti-government demonstrations highlights the deep division in the country, amid fears it could descend into chaos.
