In Serbia, there have been mixed reactions over the arrest of the former Bosnian-Serb military commander Ratko Mladic. For some he is a war hero handed over to The Hague tribunal in exchange for EU membership. For others, he is a war criminal, and is also to blame for Serbia’s years of economic and political isolation.
