Sony investigating big new hack attack

world news

Computer hackers say they have breached another network of the electronics giant Sony, claiming to have accessed personal details of one million customers.

The group LulzSec say they cracked the code to get into Sony Pictures Entertainment website.

By way of proof they published personal details, including addresses and phone numbers, of thousands of people who had entered Sony competitions.

The company said they are investigating, but gave no further details.

Sony are still reeling from the biggest computer security breach in history, when hackers accessed 77-million accounts on the company’s PlayStation network in April. Nobody has yet claimed that attack.
