Croatia's shipyards get that sinking feeling

By this summer, the Croatian government wants to successfully close its European Union accession negotiations.

This means that no state subsidies may be given to Croatia’s shipyards any longer.

The shipyard workers see privatisation looming, and are asking themselves how many will be thrown out of a job.
