A TV star in the UK has set up of a website to rate the sex appeal of the country’s parliamentarians.
Francis Boulle’s sexymp.co.uk has a simple rule. It presents the viewers with pictures of two MPs and asks which one would the viewer prefer to sleep with. The more scores each lawmaker gets, the higher his or her rankings.
The creator says on the website that not only he is trying to build a “fun and memorable tool to help the British public get to know their Members of Parliament,” but also the website provides the “first ever parliamentary beauty contest.”
Labour and Co-Operative MP Luciana Berger was the first-placeholder in the female category at the time of writing among the 142 parliamentarians, while Joseph Johnson, the brother of London’s mayor Boris, was the highest-ranking male out of 506.
Prime Minister David Cameron can run the country’s politics and economy, but in the sex appeal contest he could only reach 117th place, pursued by his deputy Nick Clegg at 153. Former Foreign Secretary David Miliband stood proudly at 14, while his brother Ed, who beat him to become Labour leader, scored 57.
Boulle, who is in the new TV series ‘Made in Chelsea’, wrote on his website that “although I fully expect this to offend some people, this was never my intention and I hope you will see the funny side.”
‘Made in Chelsea’ aims to show “London’s young social elite,” according to broadcaster E4. “Yes, they’re immaculately dressed; yes, they are fiercely ambitious; and of course they party hard. But beyond the posh accents, fast cars and polo parties, life isn’t all champagne and canapés.”
