French minister accused of harassment resigns

In France, a junior government minister accused of sexually harassing staff at the town hall where he is mayor has resigned from the government.

Georges Tron, who denies the allegations, says he does not want to be a burden to the government.

An inquiry is underway into the claims by two former municipal employees.
