Welome to Europe Weekly, our round-up of European news. This week has been very busy. MEPs voted to authorise body scanners at airports, nuclear plants are soon to be tested for safety, and of course Ratko Mladic has finally been arested.

Now a look at what’s coming up in the next few days.

There’s the continuation of Rubygate in Italy.

And the trial of Karadzic in The Hague continues following the arest of his old military commander.

In Brussels, the Commission and the African Union will meet to discuss democracy and growth.

Rome hosts Euro-Pride 2011.

And on Sunday, in the midst of bugetary turmoil, the Portuguese are voting in early parliamentary elections.
