Taliban bomb a Peshawar police station

A car bomb driven by suspected militants has exploded outside a Pakistani police station in Peshawar killing two people and wounding at least 19 others. The entire building was destroyed in the blast.

The attack happened in the garrison area of Peshawar at the police station housing the criminal investigation department.

The bombing comes just after a raid on a heavily guarded navel base in Karachi – The Pakistani Taliban have claimed responsibility for both attacks.
