Suspended sentence for Belarussian politicians

Two Belarussian opposition leaders who ran against President Alexander Lukashenko in December have been given two-year suspended prison terms.

Vladimir Neklyayev and Vitaly Rymashevsky were convicted of public order offences relating to post-election protests.

Last week, another presidential candidate was jailed for five years on similar charges and other cases are being brought.
