Up to 25 people have been killed in at least two bomb explosions in Iraq’s northern city of Kirkuk. More than 60 people were injured.

The police chief of Kirkuk province said one of the explosions came from a car bomb near a bus station in central Kirkuk.

A smaller explosion was followed by a more serious blast near Kirkuk’s police headquarters, when rescue workers responded to the first detonation, where onlookers had also gathered.
