It’s a gem of musical fusion: “Sachal Jazz: Interpretations of Jazz Standards & Bossa Nova”

is a surprising new album of jazz classics blended with traditional Indian and Pakistani music.

It is the brain-child of Pakistani philantropist Izzat Majeed, who decided to restore his country’s rich musical heritage by opening a state-of-the-art recording studio in Lahore and bringing together classical musicians.
